I have wanted to draw all my life and had various attempts over the years and failed miserably. I sort of understood what to do but not how to do it. Then I went to " Drawing for the Terrified" Wendy immediately found a way of making me draw without being overly concerned about the outcome. I signed on for her beginners course and it has been wonderful. We have visited different places and been shown a whole new way of looking at things and clear instructions about the process of drawing. Wendy encourages us every inch of the way. I defy anyone not to rock with laughter whilst learning perspective! But we got there in the end. I cannot recommend this highly enough, we have had a ball, we have learnt lots and we have improved immeasurably. We have been taught by an extraordinary artist who really wants to help us enter the world of drawing.

As a frustrated creative person with no discernible artistic talent learning to draw has always been on my list of things to try before I die but 'terrified' pretty much sums up how I felt about even attempting it. You begin the class feeling shy and embarrassed but within a couple of weeks that fades somewhat and you allow Wendy's brilliant expertise to guide you. She's always on hand with some excellent advice and often much needed words of encouragement. There are lots of laughs to be had and the support of your fellow 'terrified' classmates is invaluable. Highly recommend you give this a go. You won't regret it.
“Wendy is hugely knowledgeable about art and the history of art and I’ve learnt so much from attending her sessions. She teaches in an extremely easy to learn way and I feel I have learnt techniques for drawing that really make a difference."
